Six Flags Magic Mountain, California’s largest haunt, is reopening to guests on Thursday, April 1 and 2, with limited capacity. The theme park will have several COVID-19 protocols in place, including eleven haunted houses, nine scare zones, live monstertainment, and eerie eats and drinks. The park will be one of the first California amusement parks to reopen on Thursday, April 1, alongside Legoland California in Carlsbad and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Santa Clarita, CA.
Six Flags Magic Mountain will reopen for season passholders and members on April 1 and 2, and then to the general public on April 3, 2021. Members, Season Pass holders, and guests with single-day or group tickets must make a reservation. Splash Mountain closed at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on January 22, 2023, and at Disneyland on May 31, 2023, to be rethemed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
