What Will Take The Place Of Newsweek, Astrology, And Economics?

Granholm’s department is actively supporting AI development and addressing the uncertainties faced by economists since 2020. They have had to take positions on epidemiology, war scenarios, supply chain shifts, and more. To accelerate the shift to new ways of thinking, AI designers and developers could learn from past researchers’ missteps.

People who are feeling restless about their lives are more prone to become interested in astrology, as it is equally evidence-free and coherent. Artificial intelligence researchers can learn from alchemy and astrology by pursuing big, unrealistic dreams that distract from the development of successful applications.

Economists often focus on money or forecasting the economy’s future. However, these deposits can be called on in an instant, often sparked by negative economic or geopolitical newsflow, but they have been transformed into illiquid loans. Pseudoscience consists of statements, beliefs, or practices that claim to be both scientific and factual but are incompatible with the scientific method.

A significant number of Americans think the US economy is in a bad state, and some blame Harris for it nearly as much as Biden. The crusade against technology and progress is a vicious attack on human life and happiness.

Social media influences our personality and use of social media, with the role of race and gender in shaping our behavior. Economic reasoning can show that seemingly irrational symbolic capital will replace the concept of symbolic capital. Political developments, such as Eastern spirituality in America and developments in science and psychology, have had a heavy influence on social media.

In conclusion, AI designers and developers should focus on building successful applications that people love to use rather than trying to replace or simulate human behavior in machines.

  • Remember this: Project 2025 is NOT about Trump, he just happens to be at the helm currently. With more than 100 supporting organizations, this can easily become “Project 2029” or “Project 2033”. As an Independent voter, this is a bigger threat to the country I love than I think most people really understand.

  • People of the US, trust me you DONT want this project to enter into action in your country. Here in Argentina the executive government has too much power and it has been like that for ages and it hasn’t work at all. I think the economical recession and political and social crisis we suffer are well known. Protect your democracy, protect your freedom or you will doomed to follow the same path we followed and made us one of the most broke countries in the region.

  • I’m so sick of them saying “woke”. “Woke” is African American vernacular which can literally mean just “woke up” after sleeping (ex: saying “he’s woke” instead of “he’s awake”), it can be used to tell someone to be aware of their surroundings, then it can also be used to urge Black people to be aware of their history in this country and how social constructs in the country have been used to oppress Black people. The republicans took the last meaning and just ran with it and twisted “woke” to mean something bad. If something is against their agenda then it is “woke culture.”

  • THIS IS A STRAIGHT UP MSG AMERICA “WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE AND DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN YOU NEED TO GET HARRIS TO BAND THIS ONCE SHE GETS IN OFFICE” IS THIS A FUTURE THAT WE WANT FOR OUR KIDS AND GENERATIONS TO COME I DON’T THINK SO. JUST LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON TITLED SONG SAYS “THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT US”..

  • I have consolidated this WSJ article to make it easier to copy and paste in other web sites. “The project has FOUR MAIN PILLARS I. A POLICY PLAN – Plans for dismantling the “administrative state” (DEEP STATE) “This means purging the civil workforce of tens of thousands of federal employees and replacing them with conservative pre vetted picks. The elimination of entire cabinet departments. The plan would dismantle the Department of Homeland Security, eliminate the Department of Education entirely and transform the FBI into a political task force that is accountable to president. (The FBI is an organization that has never been run by a Democrat so the claim that it is radical is false but is just an excuse used to enable the FBI to be converted into a type of Secret Police akin to the KGB or other authoritarian governments’ weapons against their political enemies.) The playbook also outlines a plan to bring many federal agencies like the Department of Justice under more direct presidential control. What project 2025 articulates is the idea that the president should be the one directing the activities of the Department of Justice even if that means that the president will not be investigated or that the DOJ will be sent to attack the president’s political enemies.) Donald Trump has already stated “We will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists and the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country.” (In other words the dictator Trump will be able to call anyone he wishes “vermin” and “root them out.

  • Oil vs windmills: Windmills are an eyesore according to Project 2025. So oil derricks, oil tanks, pipelines, rail tankers, and offshore oil rigs are pieces of art? Then if they explode, spill, or rupture spilling their black gold onto the land and oceans that adds to the aesthetic beauty of the environment?

  • i dont know why we would want to concentrate power to corporations, like why is regulating corporations bad? Why should they be able to externalize all of their costs while privatizing all of their profits? Not only will they not pay taxes, but wont be able to be sued for things that created superfund sites (which by the way the government wouldnt be able to superfund anymore) I dont get it, these corporations are not looking out for the people they are looking out for profits, which is why we need government to look out for the people.

  • If you told me I’d be on the WSJ’s YT comment section and see a lot of people who engage with WSJ media save for a handful of apologia posts that are basically, “It’s just a blueprint, Trump distanced himself, unelected bureaucrats (aka career employees with experience) gotta go” absolutely disgusted with the completely not conservative plans of the Heritage Foundation ten years ago, I’d never have believed you. But, these are strange times, and this is a dangerous plan that will absolutely be enacted. Substitute the nonsense phrase “deep state” with “unelected bureaucrats” as they are effectively words for “people the President can’t just fire on a whim and replace with loyalists.” No President should have this kind of unequal power. NONE. Not D, not R, not I, not Green Party, not Libertarians (I was the last of these for many many years, now I claim no one, although I have registered to vote in a primary when I supported an issue since my state has closed primaries). NO US President should have this kind of unchecked authority. But, here we are, talking about it, and we need to keep talking about it, because this should not be a partisan issue. This is stupid levels of danger, and even Reagan would recoil like a kid touching a hot pan on the stove at this kind of naked power grab. It threatens our national security, and our standing on the world stage. No one will be our ally if we do this, as we will become a country that cannot be trusted. No one that we want as our ally, anyhow.

  • “If enacted”? ‘Project 2025’ isn’t even the 1st volume of this mandate, and having accomplished goals detailed in prior editions is how they’ve gotten us to this crisis point where such radical new changes are within their grasp. Trump’s prior administration’s “Skinny Budget” followed The Heritage Foundation’s “Blueprint”. These mandates are specific “How To” manuals, not just philosophies. Voters must RESIST! 💪

  • All along I thought that the founders wanted a weak executive; more of a clerical position. I was under the impression that a strong executive was too close to a king for them. And I also apparently misunderstood conservatives’ desire to put more power in the legislative branch so the president couldn’t “executive order” his or her way around congress. I guess I was wrong.

  • Until we are able to break this two-party lock on our government we will not be able to get away from this. People have to act now to enable ways for the vote to matter again. The American voter is disenfranchised still/again. We are spoon-fed these horrible candidates every cycle…from this horrible two-party system that is more interested in maintaining power than governing.

  • Some believe using terms like Nazism and Fascism when referring to MAGA plans and actions is too extreme. For those, I suggest checking history and see how Germany, Spain and Italy adopted and implemented those extreme ideologies. Check about the changes in education, public service, military and how minorities were treated. There is no doubt. We have a group that has been trying to reestablish Fascism in America and other countries. Many of those groups also manage political campaigns worldwide using the same tactics and rhetoric (i.e.: Check Brazilian Bolsoraro’s campaign personnel and check Trump’s. Some of the same players acted in Germany and Italy elections).

  • Lowkey scared, bc if it passes, I could lose the ability to free speech. I’m neurodivergent, and I’m constantly bullied for that, alongside being bisexual and being genderfluid, but I have the ability to speak up against my bullying. If the ability to speak of against that is taken away, I’m not sure what to do, as the free speech against those is one of the only things really keeping me going, because I’m able to talk about it.

  • The President cannot legally act beyond the president’s authority. Congress has supremacy over the president’s acts regarding constructions of law, and in every area where authority hasn’t been granted by the constitution. There’s a reason for separation of powers, the founding fathers were clear that the design of the US constitution is not intended to result in the president holding more power than the legislature. “An elective despotism was not the government we fought for; but one which should not only be founded on free principles, but in which the powers of government should be so divided and balanced among several bodies of magistracy, as that no one could transcend their legal limits, without being effectually checked and restrained by others. ” – “Notes on the State of Virginia”, Thomas Jefferson, Third president of the United States of America.

  • “There are some principles that cannot be compromised. Either we shall have a society based upon ordered liberty and the initiative of the individual, or we shall have a planned society that means dictation no matter what you call it or who does it. There is no half-way ground. They cannot be mixed.” – Herbert Hoover

  • Yes, its worth reading before you have too much commentary on this. Also it’s worth realizing that this is the Heritage Foundation and has zero to do with either political candidate. If you read it, you’ll realize they’ve been writing tomes like this since 1979. Alarm over this has turned into a boogeyman for people desperate to avert attention from a horrible Democratic candidate.

  • The founding fathers fought a war to have freedom without the hand of a monarch, that Washington himself denied kingship so freedom and democracy can live. this won’t make trump a tge power of king, but a power of an emporor if this goes through and destroys everything that American stood fir in the last 300 years

  • So I have an actual question and I mean in a curious way: do these people think that this is the America that everybody wants, moral policing, removal of departments that might be in the best interest of protecting people, and that the majority of the American people actually want all this to happen now and forever? It just feels like time is not on their side

  • Many people still think of the WSJ as a conservative paper. It is not and has not been for a long time. Only a handful of authors on the Editorial Page, and only there, are still conservative and, more importantly, follow the journalistic principles. The rest of the paper is just like the New York Times: the same topics, the same, amgles, the same methods of manipulation. . This article is a hit piece… on Teump, designed to scare you. Look to whom they have given voice, and how those ” gurats” use that voice. Name-calling, accusations, and no discussion whateve. You may be for or against Trump, for or against Biden, but please recognise when someone takes you for a fool.

  • 😢God help us. I downloaded the 922 page pdf. Type in “project 2025 and pdf” in your URL. The many 1st pages give who are involved and their bio. Then a list of ccontributors. The “forward” is a rambling, poorly written, poorly punctuated list of grievances. I ask you all to read I’m only on the 55 pdf page.

  • From Belize Our politicians routinely replace top bureaucrats with their own chums. To about the 7th level. As a result we have NO competence in governance, no historical memory on how legislation was enforced, no functioning federal departments for fisheries, environment, health, education, wildlife protection, agriculture, economic development, labor, foreign affairs, etc. NO continuity in programs from one gov to the next. The project 2025 training program neglects to consider that EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CORPORATE MEMORY are also important in running a country. We have popcorn ready to see how this wonderful hollowing out of all things that made America America are going to look like.

  • Recommendations of Project 2025: 1) Secure the Border by thoroughly enforcing existing immigration laws, aggressively constructing a wall on our Southern Border (which Trump was doing until Biden stopped it), efficiently identifying and rejecting fraudulent asylum claims, restoring the “remain in Mexico” policy for people awaiting asylum claims, arresting, detaining, and removing of immigration violators anywhere in the US. 2)Unleash American energy by ensuring access to abundant, reliable and affordable energy, removing efforts to push sustainable development schemes connected to food production, stopping collaboration with and funding of progressive foundations, corporations, international institutions, and NGO’s that advocate climate fanaticism, ending the Biden Administrations war on fossil fuels in the developing world and supporting the responsible management of oil and gas reserves as the quickest way to end wrenching poverty and the need for open-ended foreign aid, ensuring that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission facilitates rather than hampers private-sector nuclear energy innovation and deployment. 3) De-weaponize the Federal Government and dismantle the Deep State restoring self-governance to the American people by firing supposedly “unfireable” federal bureaucrats, closing wasteful and corrupt bureaus and offices, eliminating woke propaganda at every level of government, restoring the American people’s Constitutional authority over the administrative state, returning governing power to the Congress and President instead of unelected bureaucrats.

  • The government is meant to be secular to ensure equality, fairness, and justice for everyone, regardless of their religious beliefs. When a president openly aligns with a particular religion, it raises concerns about their ability to govern without allowing personal biases to influence the rule of law.

  • For those of you so nervous about tyranny and dictatorship, it can go either way. Because the main machinery that makes corporate fascism function is the lack of transparency, accountability or communication between departments in a totally compartmentalized government. It literally largely governs through intentional ignorance, a form of chaos. That’s how everything remains gangster, and gets MORE gangster over time. If these departments had to be accountable somewhere down the line, it could interrupt the flow of intentional neglect that allows for so much violations of land, law and civil liberties.

  • 1.\tOn Deregulation and Safety: Both Project 2025 and Agenda 47 aim to reduce unnecessary government regulations, not to put lives in danger. The goal is to cut through bureaucratic red tape that stifles innovation and economic growth. Deregulation can lead to a more dynamic economy, create jobs, and give businesses the flexibility they need to thrive. It’s about empowering individuals and businesses, not endangering lives. \t2.\tOn LGBTQ+ Protections and Abortion Rights: These plans are about upholding traditional values and protecting certain rights. When it comes to LGBTQ+ protections, it’s also about balancing these rights with religious freedoms and parental rights. On abortion, supporters believe in the importance of protecting unborn life, which is a deeply held moral and ethical stance for many. It’s not about attacking rights but about ensuring that policies reflect these values. \t3.\tOn Replacing Government Employees: The idea of replacing some government employees is about ensuring that the administration’s policies are effectively implemented. It’s crucial to have people in place who are aligned with the administration’s vision to prevent bureaucratic roadblocks and ensure that the will of the people, as expressed through their elected leadership, is carried out. It’s not about installing “loyalists” for the sake of loyalty, but about creating a more efficient and responsive government. By focusing on these points, I believe Project 2025 and Agenda 47 are designed to promote a stronger economy, uphold important values, and create a more effective government.

  • I’m not a major party voter. But one thing that has always given me hope is the fact that presidents have very limited power. So many Pluto pans on both sides of the isle have dark triad traits. It’s a field that rewards cold, manipulative, deceitful people who put a ton of energy into orchestrating an illusion. We do not need to give this kind of authority to one person. Nobody benefits by ‘universal executive power,’ but the acting present. Also, doing away with the department of education is absolutely a huge concern. We have enough ‘unschooled’ teenagers who can’t even do multiplication or read a kid’s novel, and ‘home schooled’ kids who haven’t learned anything but bible study.

  • One, it is clear the stance in the tone of the narrative that presents this project. I am not American so this is from a neutral perspective. Second, I see all the comments on authoritarianism. Do you understand the amount of funds (given the current American debt situation) and how ineffective many of the “government” departments have proven to be? The Department of Education, with the amount of funding it has received, has shown in many studies and statistics, that it ranks far below where it should stand. In other words, it is ineffective and many would argue, perhaps corrupt. Thirdly, you are taking the tone of this article as truth. Think for yourself. Do you know Switzerland mandates state control on certain aspects of their country for better accountability and citizens’ interests versus profit-centred approaches? Did you know the American Department of Education outsources to private agencies and perhaps why there is such a money bleed? Public vs. Private Collaboration: The U.S. often partners with private organizations for specific projects, whereas Switzerland typically emphasizes public control and funding. Do we call Switzerland an authoritarian country and target its leadership as dictators-to-be? Same with Denmark, Finland, and many other countries that have *gotten it right*. The project clearly has much research committed to it. It is undeniable that liberalism is the reigning sentiment in many of these government agencies, such as the Department of Education. It should not be ideological or political (that is, teaching children and enforcing views that are deemed ideological and that would show differences based on culture and religion).

  • Theocracy would undermine my freedom of religion. Kleptocracy would utterly destroy all Democratic values. How can any of this be considered conservative, it ends comity and civility and people being secure in their own privacy, and respect for differences. Heritage Foundation is extremely radical and came up with overturning Roe. Which I personally don’t support, but as not a woman its none of my business. Their narrow definition of what originalism is a threat to the rights of millions of Americans.
