In this text, the author discusses the process of learning a spell while dead in a BLU (Battle Master Unit) fight. They mention that if one BLU learns a new spell, all BLUs who needed that spell will also learn it as long as they are alive. If a monster uses the spell, all BLUs can still learn it without having to see the spell used after they were killed.
The learn rate of a spell depends on two factors: the spell’s star rating (1 to 5 stars) and whether the content is level. If you die before the enemy does, you will not learn the spell. You must be alive as the enemy dies to learn the spell. One of the many spells Blue Mage can learn is “Level 5 Death”, which is an instant kill AOE.
The level cap for Blue Mage has been increased to 80 with the release of Patch 6.45. To learn a spell without cast bars, keep an eye on your floating text or combat log to ensure the spell you are after has actually been used before killing the mob.
Blue Mages can learn blue magic from various enemies. They must first witness the enemy use the spell and defeat that enemy. Depending on the spell’s rank (ranging from one to five stars), you have a chance to automatically learn the spell after the monster dies.
In summary, the author discusses the process of learning Blue Mage spells, including the ability to learn spells while dead and the importance of being alive when the mob dies. The author also provides a list of all spells and their locations for learning.

How to solo level Blue Mage?
Blue Mage leveling involves killing enemies at or above your level until you reach level 80. This process can be broken into stages, with the spells used changing in each stage. The most effective way to level up for Blue Mage is by killing enemies in the open world, as they gain massive experience from enemies (10x) and cannot queue for roulettes using the Duty Finder. There are three methods of leveling up: being powerleveled by someone at max level, powerleveling yourself, or manually solo leveling by killing enemies around your level until you reach level cap.
Manual leveling has no practical benefit, as it takes longer and doesn’t allow players to learn how to play Blue Mage. Learning spells from enemies is more akin to leveling up other jobs. A full list of locations to use while leveling is provided, along with maps for each set of levels.

Can I level Blue Mage solo?
Blue Mage is a powerful strategy that can be used to level at any level by utilizing a unique interaction between two monsters, Deep-sea Leeches and Clionids, found in the level 80 zone, The Tempest. When a Leech and Clionid are brought together, the Clionid consumes the leech, killing it instantly and granting itself an Enlarge buff.
