Is Might and Magic 6 worth it?
Might and Magic VI is an old-school CRPG that maintains the charm and spirit of the Might and Magic series while adding new clever touches. Despite not addressing the limitations that have always bothered me about CRPGs, it was surprising at how fun and involving it was. The game is a good game in my opinion, and while not everyone will agree, I personally don’t regret buying it or playing it. It doesn’t address the limitations that have always bothered me about CRPGs, but it still offers an evening of real gaming.

I like Heroes 2 and 3 as its not overloaded by to many details, just enough to produce a good level of possibilities and strategic gameplay. Though I love H2 campaigns (apart from wizard isle cus 1map u have to gather forces forever in the end to kill 2000 bone dragons), H3 has alot of “dont loose ur hero” even tho u can flee and rerecruit in castle normally. Gainin area, loosin area, winnin battles and loosin battles being a part of the big war, this is pretty annoying so for H3 singlemap only
As a HoMM fan and one of the people that played homm online the moment it was released I must say TQ Digital did their best to fail completely at this game. Maybe if it was released 10 years ago it would have been decent. I don’t see any HoMM fan playing this MMO over ANY of the original games. I’ve been playing homm at least once a month for the past 13 years so trust me I’m a professional 🙂 It would be nice if Ubisoft makes a good HoMM MMO. p.s. Necropolis will rule them all.
Wait, so THIS is the one before the Blue Byte’s version… I’m sorry for Blue Byte, but I would take this one over the other any time, the races are all there (compared to only Haven and Necropolis… and it’s already been 2 years or so), the towns look quite good, the character creation is cool, everything seems better except maybe the battle graphics, but I can live with that..
@MMOHut That’s not entirely true 😀 it’s still A LOT better than Heroes IV if you’ve ever played it :p Heroes III is the actual clasic that everybody loves, they kinda ruined it with IV and V even tho V was a step in the right direction ;p Game isn’t that bad it kind of goes back to the old-school but still could’ve been pulled of better :p
Shit loads of HoMM 3 and HoMM 5 graphics and music used – biggest successors of the series. I am disappointed at first look. Obviously there is no game to judge until you play it. I hope they did not screw this up so much. They left many original ideas behind, and this is only a thing I discovered in 10 min article. I am afraid I will not be happy with that game at all. There is nothing worse then having a good idea and completely screwing it up.
shesh some people and their opinions, anyway not bad game, although the fact that its asia only and more single player proves its made by someone OTHER than ubisoft, just because its not EXACTLY the same doesnt make it terrible yeh tools, good graphics in battle, tool graphics outside because of the eudemons and exc, cough *13 years dont make expert* cough anyway at least its better than the piece of crap heroes of might and magic kingdoms ubi came out with, even tried to have subscription on it
